Thanks so much John, Sally and Charlotte for spear-heading this 50 year reunion!! I didnít think I could come since I am attending the wedding of my best friendís son in Seattle on that Saturday, but I didnít want to miss soÖ I will arrive Wednesday and be there for the Meet and Greet on Friday and then fly off to Seattle!

As many of you may remember, I only joined you for Junior and Senior years as my Dad took a teaching position at EMU in 1965. We moved from Denver, and I always said I would return to MY mountains, blue sky and no mosquitoes and sure enough, 48 years and 7 states later, I now live in Littleton, CO with a roof-top patio view of the entire Rocky Mountain Range with my husband Ken of 37 years. I am telling you this first, in case you donít read the entire long bio so you know we have 2 guest rooms in our new 1800 sq. feet, 4 levels, lots-of-stairs home and love visitors! Come visit us!

After RHS I went to MSU and roomed with Barb Carter for 2 years and majored in Communications (loved speaking and acting) with a Math minor and got my teaching certificate. But after student teaching in Middle School decided not to teach but instead sold new and used cars and trucks. I was able to take 6 weeks off and went to Munich for the 1972 Olympics with my brother Paul to see my college boyfriend play for the US soccer team and toured alone through Europe. Also, while in Europe, went to Sweden and Norway and became the Saab representative when I returned to Dik Watson Chevrolet & Saab in Williamston, MI.

Since 1967, I have lived in CT Ė commuting to NYC, then lived on the East and West side in NYC; in MD working in Washington DC for a grand opening and promotion company; drove across country to a new job in Orange County, CA but totaled my car in MI. Then worked in Southern CA for a videotape production company in sales; sold radio time and wrote radio commercials; was the marketing director for a commercial/residential developer handling the marketing/promotions for their shopping centers; was an executive recruiter, and finally an Account Executive and designed promotions for a public relations firm.

Two big events happened to me in January 1979 when I asked Jesus Christ into my life as Lord and Savior and the next week met my husband-to-be, Ken, on a blind date in Newport Beach, CA. We were married in 1980 and have three adult children. Cambria (husband Jon and first grandbaby, Ada, born in 2016) in New Orleans and both work for amazing non-profits; Scott who is at NASA headquarters as an aerospace engineer and lives in Arlington, VA; and Danielle who was a missionary in London two years but now is getting her counseling degree at Denver Seminary.

I have had the opportunity to create, host and produce: a short-lived cable TV show in 1982; two weekly Christian radio shows for moms Ė one half-hour pre-recorded in Orange County, CA 87-89, and the same format but one hour and live when we lived in Atlanta, GA 96-97. From interviewing so many moms, I had the privilege of writing a parenting book in perpetual calendar form, Motherís Moments, that sold world-wide and am presently working on a new format for the 25th Anniversary of that calendar in the form of a momís keepsake memory journal.

I was a stay-at-home mom and loved it for over two decades after my sales and marketing career and volunteered my time on the radio, at schools, church and coordinating efforts in MA, when we lived in Boston area for 17 years, for Moms In Prayer International. I continue to speak to moms/parents on parenting subjects, at retreats and now write and perform one-woman dramas or dramatic readings of different women of the Bible. You can see my new updated website at:

I presently am working part-time with Balfour Senior Living Center in Denver in activities for their Assisted Living and Memory Care residents and I am on the Board of a non-profit here in Littleton, Love INC. My husband Ken is now retired from the insurance industry and is re-tuning his tennis skills, cooks our dinners thanks to Blue Apron, involved in our church, and we both have bought new skis and are loving skiing the Colorado Rockies. I look forward to re-meeting you all and come visit us if you're in the area!
