[Note: I wrote in Milt's invitation, "Do you remember the Stones at Cobo on Nov. 26, 1965? If not, I found the wrong Milt Proper." I'll be forever grateful to Milt for driving us to that great concert. He remembered the Rolling Stones, but forgot the opening act was Terry Knight and the Pack (I had no idea who opened the concert; I found it on the 'net). – John]
You found your man and yes I do remember the Stones concert @ Cobo Hall. If my memory hasn't faded too far, didn't the Temptations open the show?
I won't be able to attend the reunion. We have a family outing planned in TN starting on Friday the 21st and it's going to be too complicated to rearrange.
A brief bio:
Started college @ CMU, but dropped out after two years and joined the Navy. I served from '69 to '77. My last two years in the Navy were in San Diego where I picked back up on my college degree and graduated from the University of San Diego with dual majors in History & European Studies.
I went into the insurance business after graduation and worked for a couple of different insurance companies and national insurance brokers before retiring in 2016. One of the companies I worked for moved me to DFW, TX in 1981 and I still live in this area.
My wife, Rose, and I have been married for nearly 20 years and don't have any children. My main hobbies now that I'm retired are working on my golf game and traveling.
Sorry, I won't be able to attend - but I'm sure everyone will have a great time. It's kind of sad to see so many angel's wings on the class pictures.
I've attached a picture that Rose took of me while visiting Santornin a few years ago.
