After graduating from RHS, Roger was last seen eastbound on Michigan Avenue to Detroit and a career at General Motors. This started with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute (GMI). Roger later went on to complete an MBA at University of Detroit and a Master of Science in Hazardous Waste Management. He married his best friend Pat and they have remained happily married the last 45 years. They have two children. In addition to being a devoted family man and successful Professional, Roger spent time volunteering with the Boy Scouts and church choir, and stayed active by participating in Triathlons, running with the Motor City Striders and by rock climbing. Roger retired from GM after 40 years, and is spending retirement not only learning to live with Parkinsonís Disease, but also as an active grandfather to four energetic grandchildren. Roger and Pat also enjoy traveling and have particularly cherished their trips to see the wolves in Yellowstone, polar bears in Canada and to Iceland. Home base is Burton, Michigan.
